Presenting a violin concerto and a guitar loop recorded live on stage has put this show into a league of its own. Chris Funk has spent the last 15 years traveling the world, performing for theatres, casinos, cruise ships and TV. Chris has been performing onstage almost his entire life. First as a musician, then as a magician, and now as a brilliant and witty performer known as “The Wonderist”. His parents wanted him to be an orchestra musician, but he wanted to be a magician. He began playing music at the age of 4 and played a whole variety of instruments like the violin, saxophone and guitar, which he then began integrating with his love for magic.
Today, his talents have gained him appearances on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, CW’s Penn & Teller: Fool UsandMasters of Illusion as well as Syfy’s Wizard Wars. His unique approach to magic has garnered him performances at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood, Tropicana, Venetian, Mandalay Bay and Rio casinos, Hollywood’s World-Famous Magic Castle as well as on Disney Cruise Lines. In addition to his own touring, Chris has starred in major touring magic productions Masters of Illusion LIVE. He tells his story on how he integrated his love for music and magic in a show unlike any other. Whether it’s Sri Lanka, Chile, LA, NY, Las Vegas, the middle of the ocean, or the Midwest, Chris’ show has garnered standing ovations and a reputation for excellence.
