DIRECTIONS
The Empire is located at 415 DeMers Avenue, near the corner of 5th Street and DeMers Avenue in historic, downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota.
From I-29 North or South
Exit I29 at DeMers Ave (Exit 140) and go East on DeMers Ave approximately 40 blocks. The Empire is on the right.
From Highway US-2 East or West
Enter the city on Highway US-2 (Gateway Drive) and go South on North 5th Street approximately 12 blocks. Take a left on DeMers Ave - the Empire is on the right.
PARKING
The fastest and most convenient place to park for events at the Empire is the Corporate Center parking ramp locating directly behind our building with entrances on both South 4th Street and South 5th Street. Parking in the ramp is free on weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. On weekdays between 7-5 follow these instructions:
Park in a spot with a Passport/Mobile Pay Sign. (First floor green section and orange sections/upper levels)
Download the passport app (same app as what UND utilizes)
Enter in the zone code listed on the signage and complete the registration

ACCESSIBILITY
Empire Arts Center is accessible for all patrons who use a wheelchair or a scooter, or patrons who cannot walk stairs. Courtesy wheelchairs are available upon request. To reserve a wheelchair call us at 701.746.5500. For events with reserved seating, seating charts indicate seat locations reserved for patrons using wheelchairs.
For patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing American Sign Language Interpretation is offered for upon advance request.
TICKET POLICIES
There are no refunds on tickets to Empire Arts Center produced events. Refunds for non Empire produced events are at the discretion of the producer.
Ticket exchanges for Empire Arts Center produced events must be made 24 hours prior to your reservation.
Performance names, dates, and times are subject to change or cancellation.
Late seating is only available at the discretion of the house manager and may not be available. Latecomers arriving 15 minutes after curtain are not guaranteed their tickets.
BEWARE OF TICKET SCAMMERS. There are many online websites or “brokers” that will lead you to believe that they are an official website for ticket purchases for our events. The Empire Arts Center does not knowingly sell to ticket brokers or resellers, and will cancel and refund purchases found to be suspect. The official ticket purchase point for The Empire Arts Center is ci.ovationtix.com/34699. Tickets purchased from any individual, company, or website other than the official site are purchased at your own risk and may be fraudulent, counterfeit, or invalid for admission to the performance. The Empire Arts Center assumes no liability for these tickets and cannot resolve any disputes involving their use.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY POLICY
The Empire Arts Center is fully committed to reducing its impact on the environment and being a model for other organizations. We strive to incorporate environmental sustainability into the core of the Empire Arts Center’s operations wherever reasonably possible.
The Empire has recycling receptacles in our lobby. Please help us in our commitment to an environmentally stable future by disposing of all paper and plastic waste in these receptacles.
